2. Reading

Our reading today on pages 105–111 (top) takes us through some important issues. We live in a culture where religious beliefs are considered both personal and unverifiable. That makes all truth subjective, all values relative. But God is God outside of what we believe. Our beliefs do not change who God is. Our beliefs only change how we experience God. This is why it’s so important that we learn how to identify “the truth” as opposed to “my truth.” Join me in the reading as we explore counting the cost, dealing with things we don’t like about God, verifying truth, and why you don’t want to get your worldview from an angry person.
