Verifying truth

Up to this point, we’ve talked a great deal about deception, but we haven’t really discussed its opposite: truth. It’s vitally important that you have a framework for understanding, recognizing, and verifying truth. That’s what Chapter 3 in your textbook and these next few lessons are about.

Let’s just dive into the entire reading: pages 84-93. I’ve picked out selected questions and copied them below with references to the page numbers in the reading. Feel free to answer questions as you read.
