Training in prayer ministry

Learning to do Theophostic® Prayer Ministry (TPM) takes an investment of time and should not be done without some kind of supervision or accountability. We have found that it takes several hundred hours of experience to become truly proficient, and even an experienced prayer minister should be connected to a group of believers who can provide ongoing training, support and accountability. Dr. Ed Smith recently updated all his training materials, so you do want to visit his site to make sure you are working with the most recent materials available. Don't attempt to learn this second hand. Here in the Madison, Wisconsin area Steve Freitag's CrossCounsel ministry has been on the cutting edge of providing that kind of training community. Steve has over 8,000 hours of experience and is a true expert in this type of ministry.
