Be happy to, but please tell your customer to allow several weeks for delivery, as I don’t keep a lot of inventory in stock, and it may take me a few weeks to resupply. I will ship media mail to any USA address. Charge your customer whatever you want. You pay me $12 per order. The $12 includes the cost of manufacturing the book, shipping the book from Amazon to me, tax, my handling, and media mail cost to ship from me to your customer. Your role
Contribute a short chapter: 1,000 to 3,000 words. It can be a blog post or something else you’ve already published. (If you prefer to send me a video, a podcast, or some notes, I’ll be happy to write your chapter for you.) Please include a short bio and a photo.
I recommend you include an offer—that is, information on how readers can get in touch with you or your message, the service you offer, the books you’ve authored, get on your mailing list, or whatever makes sense for you.
Make sure any images included with your chapter are high resolution (at least 1500 pixels wide), and make sure you own the rights to those images. If an image contains recognizable people (other than yourself), a model release is required.
Deadline: Please forward your chapter as soon as possible, but no later than Monday, January 25, 2021.
I am requesting that you distribute at least a hundred copies of the completed book/e-book.
- Part of the purpose of this book is to allow every contributor access to a new audience. That’s why I’m asking each contributor to find at least 100 readers for the book.
- You may sell the paperback book or pdf e-book, or give it away for free, or offer it as an incentive for donors.
- You may obtain the pdf from me free of charge to you.
- You may order paperback copies from me at my cost (you pay about $3-$4 per copy—allow several weeks for delivery).
- You may privately print the book for the exclusive purpose of distributing those copies to people within your circle of influence. The book must be unaltered; except you need to use your own ISBN.
- Suggested retail price for the paperback will be $19.95, and for the e-book $4.99, but you are not bound at all by those prices.
Rights and royalties
You are granting me (Dwight Clough, or agents, assigns) the ongoing right to publish your chapter(s) in this book and in subsequent editions of this book. You retain the right to use your chapter(s) for any other purpose as long as the other contributors and I retain our rights as described herein.
You keep 100% of the profits you make on any of the books you distribute. I will publish the book on Amazon (paperback and Kindle e-book) and I will keep any royalties Amazon pays. I’m planning to use those funds to build a network of Christians on mission to make a difference. If you’d like to help, please me know.
