Dwight’s common sense guidelines and publishing agreement

  1. Your story must be true and inspirational.
  2. You must be the original author.
  3. Your story must be 1200 words or less. 200-700 words preferred.
  4. By submitting your story, you are granting us the right to publish your story in print, in ebook, online and/or in audio book form. (If your story has been previously published, before submitting your story to us, check with your publisher to make sure you can grant us those rights. You may also publish elsewhere, but be sure to let any other publisher know that you have granted us these rights, as they cannot be revoked later.)
  5. Your story may contain struggle, but it may not contain negative information about any individual who could be identified through the story.
  6. You may publish under your real name or a pen name (fictitious name), but I need your real name and contact information when you submit your story.
  7. While your story does not need to be overtly Christian, our readers are drawn to Christian content.
  8. You may include a bio of up to 50 words. If you’ve published a book, a blog or operate a ministry, you may include a short 50-word description.
  9. You may include the web address of your blog or book site.
  10. Again, since your content is original to you, you are protecting me from any claims of copyright infringement.
  11. This is a free service; you are providing your content free of charge to us, and, if we elect to publish it, we will do so free of charge to you.
  12. We reserve the right to accept or reject any story for any reason or no reason. We reserve the right to edit before going to press. Let us know if you want to review and approve the edited version.

I agree to the above, tell me how to submit my story.
I agree to the above, but I need help preparing my story.
